Prayer Group -Oasis
Fortnightly on Tuesdays at 2pm Priory Room
Oasis is a chance to create space for us to unwind and let the silence in, making
ourselves ready for God to come to us and help us in the many areas of life which
cry out for his help. We will bring before God our own lives, those in the Parish
we know who particularly need God’s touch and we will pray for the wider world. More

‘Knit and Natter’ Craft Group
2nd and 4th Tuesdays each month Soltau Centre
If you enjoy knitting, crochet or sewing with friends come along to ’Knit and Natter’
have a cuppa and a biscuit and join us.
Young at Heart
Can we tempt you with a delicious home cooked lunch? Older people from all three
churches gather for lunch and friendly chat at the Soltau Centre 12.30pm alternate
Wednesdays. Do come and make this a regular date.
Parish Walks
Once a month, rain or shine, we meet for a country walk. Walks are carefully chosen
to include a welcoming pub for refreshment! Forward notice, January's walk will be
a local stroll on January 2nd. Thereafter February 25th and March 24th.
THE BG EVENING monthly, Soltau Centre
Every second Thursday of the month during term time at 7.45pm An opportunity for the
whole Parish to gather for a short time of worship, prayer and a discussion of a
topical issue - maybe with a visiting speaker. Please do come along as we consider
where God might be leading us all.
Come and Meet Each Other (CAMEO)
Second Thursday of the month at 3:00pm Priory Room
An opportunity for older people to Come And Meet Each Other.? We gather in
the Priory Room in Hurley for tea and cake to share friendship and enjoy each other’s
company. If you would like transport please contact Fiona Fieldhouse on 01628-824574.
Discovery Groups
Fortnightly during term-time
Our new small groups give you the opportunity to explore the Christian faith and
make friends as well! There are currently five groups: one has a musical bias, there
is a lunchtime group and groups for families with young children. For further information
please contact Keith or Tina.
Diary Dates
Week Beginning 29th January Our Prayer Group, Oasismeets on Tuesday 31st 2.30pm in
the Priory Room, please join us if you can.
Discovery Groups meet that week: contact your group leader for details. To join a
Discovery Group please speak to Keith Nicholls or Tina Molyneaux.
Week Beginning 5th February
Knit and Natter craft group meets in the Soltau Centre at 2.00 pm on Tuesday 7th
February.
Young at Heart meet for lunch Wednesday 8th February in the Soltau Centre following
our midweek Communion.
Come and Meet Each Other, CAMEO, a chance for older people to meet and chat over
tea and cake, starts again on Feb 9th, 3.00pm, Priory Room.
