of interest. For further details please contact.
CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES
For the younger members of the parish we have a Sunday School in the Soltau Centre
during the Parish Service and during Stubbings Common Worship Communion Service.
We hold monthly Family Services at Hurley and at Stubbings.
For pre-schoolers and parents/carers ‘Pebbles’ is a short service and playgroup
which meets every Tuesday in the Soltau Centre, and every Thursday in the Priory
Room. (details here.) There are special services and activities for children during
the festival seasons.
THE BG EVENING
Every second Thursday of the month during term time at 7.45pm in the Soltau Centre.
An opportunity for the whole Parish to gather together for a short time of worship,
prayer and a discussion of a topical issue – maybe with a visiting speaker.
CAMEO
CAMEO is an opportunity for older people to Come And Meet Each Other. We gather in
the Priory Room in Hurley for tea and cake to share friendship and enjoy each other’s
company on the second Thursday of each month at 3pm. If you would like transport

website for details. For more details contact Ian Bentley 01628 630648.
PRAYER GROUP - OASIS
Fortnightly on Tuesdays at 2.00pm in the Priory Room Oasis is a chance to create
space for us to unwind and let the silence in, making ourselves ready for God to
come to us and help us in the many areas of life which cry out for his help. We will
bring before God our own lives, those in the Parish we know who particularly need
God?s touch and we will pray for the wider world.
GARDENING
Our gardening group invites you to spend time with us in the garden at Stubbings
on Tuesday mornings. If you can spare a couple of hours regularly or only join us
occasionally your help to cherish the garden will be warmly received by us and the
snowdrops, daffodils, flowering shrubs and woodland plants.
MUSIC GROUP AND CHOIR
We have a choirthat sings at Littlewick Green and at Evensong in Stubbings - rehearsals
on Wednesday evenings.
The Time Out Band who play on a Thursday evening and at some of our services will
welcome new instrumentalists and singers and we would welcome people wishing to help
lead the singing at our Family Services.

Communion service in church at 11.30am for those who wish.
SMALL GROUPS: DISCOVERY GROUPS and CURSILLO
Discovery Groups
Our new small groups give you the opportunity to explore the Christian faith and
make friends as well! Groups meet fortnightly during term-time. There are currently
five groups: one has a musical bias, there is a lunchtime group and groups for families
with young children. For further information please contact Keith or Tina.
Cursillo is a movement of the Church, providing a method by which Christians are
empowered to grow through prayer, study and action and enabled to share God’s love
with all. Cursillo seeks to serve the whole Church, and to equip Christians to be
the church wherever they are, and in whatever stream of tradition or theology they
are comfortable. We have a Cursillo group in our Parish. For details contact Peter
Watsham on 01628-821023.

Parish Garden Party and Christmas Fayre, running a tea stall at the Littlewick Show,
lecture evenings in Littlewick, BBQ’s and much more. To stay in touch will all that
